The 15th Annual Musclemania World Championships was the most competitive in its history with new, surprising bodybuilders taking on veteran Musclemaniacs from around the world. Professional Champion Sami Al Haddad of Bahrain was competing in America for the first time and prepared for an entire year. At 5'8", 193 lbs., he packaged tremendous size, impressive symmetry and in peak condition.

For many years, he was intrigued by what he had heard about Musclemania shows. The lights, the sound, the spectacular staging, the glamor, the sensation of competing at the biggest natural bodybuilding contest in the world. So, Sami Al Haddad of Bahrain, the former IFBB Gulf States Champion set his goal to compete in America for the first time. Last weekend, in Hollywood, Al Haddad stormed the Musclemania stage with his incredible physique packaged with shape, size and condition. "I didn't compete for a year just to focus on Musclemania", said Al Haddad. "I've competed at the IFBB World, Asia, Mediterranean and Gulf States shows. But, I knew that Musclemania would be tougher than anything I had ever prepared for before." It was former MM Superbody Champ Stan McQuay who really peaked Al Haddad's curiosity. Said Al Haddad, "Stan was saying all sorts of things about Musclemania, so I was really excited about competing. And, now I know for real. When you come to Musclemania, it's a different experience than any other show. You just can't understand the feeling of being on the stage until you've been there." For the first time Sami worked with a nutritionist, ALI AMINI <THE GAME TEAM>, and it's made a big difference. At 93kg (205 pounds), Sami's waist was just 29". He's looking forward to working with Ali to prepare for future shows.
