THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK

My name is Arthur Gooden and I was born in Jamaica West Indies before before moving to in Queens, New York City. I took up Track and Field during High School and competed as a sprinter. I quickly developed great legs from sprinting.

After High School I went into the Military where I played football. When I got out of the Military, I attended Queens College where I started to lift some weight as recreation.

One day in 2002 A friend of mine invited me to attend a bodybuilding competition as a spectator. When I got there, it blew my mind. I turned to my friend and said I want to do that, I want to compete. That was 2 ½ years ago. I did my first competition March 19th 2005. I did really well. This is why I'm known as the new kid on the block. I've been in bodybuilding for only 2 ½ years now and have a bright future ahead in this business.
