Keep an eye on new IFBB pro Clarence DeVis.

Brussels dished up another stunner, for the new Belgian Nationals winner, CLARENCE DEVIS, is capable of contending for the biggest check as soon as he steps on an IFBB pro stage.

The 27-year-old took the title at 5'6" and 215 pounds with bulbous muscle bellies and spot-on conditioning. His arms looked especially globular, and his back sported more divots than a Belgian waffle. He lacks only calves. The French-speaking DeVis, who lives in Gosselies in southern Belgium, plans to make his pro debut at the 2008 Santa Susanna Pro Grand Prix.

The Belgian national champ, who has proved to be impressive as an amateur, set his sights on making his IFBB pro debut at this year's inaugural Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Championships in Tampa, Florida, on August 9.

Belgian IFBB President Julien Blommaert, who's promoted some 200 competitions in the nearly 60 years he's been involved with bodybuilding, is a big fan of the 28-year-old wunderkind. In a missive to FLEX honcho Peter McGough, Blommaert wrote, "Clarence is a pro now and will be loved by judges and spectators! Muscle with showmanship--that's what he is!"
