As a younger man in high school, I was inspired by my cousin's physique and wanted to be bigger. I started going to the gym and I've been hooked ever since. When I started 13 years ago, I never thought of competing. But I moved out farther and started at a new gym, that's when I noticed my potential. I did my first competition in 1994.

I'm 36 now and a welder by trade. My goal is to accomplish a pro card in a sport that is very competitive. I've worked very hard to look the way I do today. I feel like I have the love for this sport to make it to the top.
