I began training at age 14 to increase muscle mass and strength, but mostly, because I truly enjoyed it. To this day, I love training. The harder I work and the heavier I train, the better time I have. I am truly thankful that I have the ability and opportunity to live the bodybuilding lifestyle and to push the limits of my own abilities, mentally and physically. I try not to ever take this opportunity for granted and enjoy every moment.

What I have learned from bodybuilding:

This sport has truly been a positive addition to my life, and this has translated into growth as a person outside of the gym. Living the bodybuilding lifestyle has taught me many valuable lessons.
I have learned that to excel at anything in life, you must be completely committed and willing to make necessary sacrifices to succeed. I have learned to push my own limits, and that you can always achieve more if you maintain a positive attitude, and never give up. I have learned to never whine and complain, because this attitude will get you nowhere, and truly, nobody wants to hear it. Most importantly, I have learned that true success comes from perception of success; That is, recognition and appreciation of your own achievements.
