I met TT a decade ago when he took second in the Light Heavies at his first national show. He was so close to winning the whole thing, it seemed like he was on his way to the top of the bodybuilding world. But it turned out the be the highest he'd ever place.

It wasn't for lack of trying. He competed in just about every national show for the next 3 years, but never quite matched his condition again. But the only thing that was growing was his frustration, he'd stayed in the same class for every show.

"I'm done with this!" That's the last thing I'd heard him say at his last contest. So his call was a big surprise...
